1 mei 2013 - BEGO heeft hiernavolgende persbericht vrijgegeven voor publicatie.

At the IDS in Cologne, Germany (12th to 16th of March) the dental specialist BEGO from Bremen, Germany presents an optimised generation of economical and efficient casting machines. The machines will greatly facilitate the casting procedure for the user.

BEGO has revised its Nautilus machines for casting dental alloys intelligently. Nautilus CC plus and Nautilus T now have integrated, water-independent power cooling, which makes it possible to perform 50 casting procedures in sequence without overheating – even in high ambient temperatures. The machines are operated and controlled using an intuitive touch screen, accelerating the access times. The new eco-mode is particularly economical. After only three minutes idle time the machine switches off all unnecessary electronic components and restarts in operating mode in less than a second at the touch of a fingertip. The advantages for the user: reduction of the operating costs and protection of the environment due to lower power consumption. In addition, the floor space required with both machines has been reduced by 20 percent (600 x 650 mm). “Despite the compact design all process steps can be performed with the dependable Nautilus technology. This is a considerable improvement, particularly for laboratories with limited space”, enthused Dennis Wachtel, Head of Product Management at BEGO.

The new generation of the Fornax T has a reduced floor space (650 x 560 mm) of almost 25 percent. The compact benchtop centrifugal casting machine with induction melting has also been optimised in terms of user-friendliness. All controls are directly in the viewing field of the user and can be operated via an ergonomically arranged panel in the lid. The water-independent power cooling is also new with the Fornax T. It also enables more than 50 casting procedures in sequence without overheating, even in high ambient temperatures. “The Fornax has been successful in the BEGO product range for over 35 years. During all this time we have continued to develop it further. The new generation of the Fornax T will also greatly facilitate routine work in the laboratory”, commented Wachtel with conviction.
